Lucy Savage (BA Hons, L. I. D. T. A)...

After leaving school with GCSE’s including Dance and Drama, Lucy went on to achieve a BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts followed by a BA Honours Degree in Dance covering StreetJazz, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Physical Theatre and Body Release Work.  Lucy is also Ballet trained and has achieved numerous dancing qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Lucy has also gained her IDTA Student, Associate and Licentiate teaching qualifications in Street Dance. 

Lucy’s dancing experience includes performances in pantomimes and professional dance shows at high profile venues around the UK and in Europe.  Over the years Lucy is fortunate to have worked with a number of well known artists including Louise Nurding (now Redknapp), PJ & Duncan (now Ant & Dec) and Wayne Sleep.

Lucy’s teaching career began on a voluntary basis in Australia, before she returned home to the UK to form her very own dance school - in January 2003, Lucy's School of Dance was launched.  A strong believer in using dance as a means to strengthen character, Lucy brings this into her tuition with great effect.  Our pupils gain in confidence not only on the dance floor, but in life in general.  Many parents have highlighted this as one of the reasons they rate Lucy's teaching ability so highly.

Sarah Middleton...

Sarah started out dancing at an early age attending classes for Ballet, Tap and Modern before she began dancing with Lucy's School of Dance in 2003.

She soon realised her potential and made the decision to alter her career path to include qualifications in Dance. Having completed her foundation degree in Dance at Hull University Sarah is now working towards her BA Honours Dance Teacher Training Degree and is due to graduate in April 2010.

Having worked 'apprentice fashion' with Lucy for a number of years, Sarah now takes sole charge of her own classes at each of our venues.

Sarah is also gained her IDTA Student level teaching qualification and is currently working towards Associate level.
