Both Lucy and Sarah hold teaching qualifications with the IDTA and we incorporate all exam preparation within our normal dance lessons at no additional cost to our students. More details here.
In January 2010, we held our very first IDTA examination day. Over 200 dancers of all ages from Brough, Beverley and Willerby took part in the examination process. We are pleased to have achieved a 100% pass rate with every single student sailing through without a problem!
To celebrate our success we subsequently arranged two separate awards nights in March to mark the occasion. Such was the number of dancers involved, we had to split the event to accommodate the number of people wishing to attend with our 4-6 & 7-10's attending on the Friday evening and our 11-15's and adults attending on the Saturday.
Both events went down a storm with the venue packed to the rafters on both evenings. After a buffet reception the presentations began before we danced the night away to celebrate the achievements of all our dancers.
